Gooey baked feta with honey and thyme can be whipped up in 20 minutes, making it a perfect starter for any festive gathering.

What you will need: (serves 8)

200g Greek-style feta

1 tbs extra virgin olive oil

1 1/2 tbs honey

2 sprigs thyme

90g Rosemary chia & saltbush crackers, to serve

METHOD:

Preheat oven to 200°C/180°C fan-forced. Pat feta dry with paper towel. Place feta in a small ovenproof frying pan. Brush all over with oil. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until soft but not melted.

Remove feta from the oven and heat the oven grill to high. Brush feta all over with 1 tbs honey. Grill for 2 minutes or until golden around the edges and feta is just starting to bubble.
